She's paid a lot of taxes too.

Kamala Harris has released a full 15 years of tax returns, more than any other candidate so far.

The other candidates that have released at least 10 years of tax returns so far are Sens. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, Kirsten Gillibrand of New York and Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota, and Washington Gov. Jay Inslee.

Others probably will soon.

Somewhat low effective fed rate at around 29% of their $1,890,000 AGI. So I'm guessing a significant chunk of their income is dividends and the like.

Stingy-stingy on their giving, though. A bit over 1% in charitable deductions.

Good for her in disclosing and being transparent. I figure the rest will follow as per usual, except Trump of course.

I still can't figure out Sen. Sanders' tax returns from when he released last cycle. I can't remember if it was 2014 or 2015 taxes or both, but his accountant failed to run the AMT calculations and he (Mr. Sanders) should have paid a lot more in tax than he did. But for some reason that wasn't discussed.

"A bit over 1% in charitable deductions."

doing us al a favor imho

charitable deduction is robbery of the tax base but at least now that we decoupled the base from spending via excessive debt issuance, we aint got to worry about stupid crap like balanced budgeting and fiscal conservatives ahah

thats for proles with bad credit... real players do Debt right
