I ask this question because America elected George Bush and Dick Cheney, arguably the worst administration in the last 80 years, twice.

I think that’s contributed to the Democrats going totally of the rails. They probably said “f-this, we’ll be as corrupt as we need to be to get power and money too. If these idiots voted for these dirtbags, there are no rules anymore.”

I don’t have mental health issues.

I am not on drugs of any kind and I function normally in society.

It’s normal to be upset when you fail, clique notwithstanding.

When you are delusional, that’s when we have problems.

Agreed. With the possible exception of Hillary Clinton, no Democrat is more responsible for our current president’s occupancy of the White House than Barry. His “citizen of the world” orientation, coupled with the incessant race hustling and apologizing for America, made Donald Trump almost inevitable.

Further, Obama is turning out to be AOC 1.0. He is the original elected somewhat attractive person of color who babbles about crazy sh— while over half the country stands around in stunned silence, remaining quiet for fear of being accused of racism.

The Republican Party went off the rails in the mid-90s. Compared to that pack of lunatics, the Democrats are entirely sane, reasonable, and ethical.

The Dems are squishy and smarmy and generally suck.

The GOP is evil.

I often, probably usually vote Dem. I boycott the GOP on principle, especially under Varmintlord Trump. I'd rather vote for a fiscally responsible GOP that doesn't waste time on social distractions, but they lose me on both counts.

The Republican party went completely nuts right around the time they discovered Clinton got a blowjob in the oval office.

They impeached him in the house before he was proven of any crime whatsoever. Say what you want but dems haven't done that to Trump YET and they totally have it within their power to do so. They have the votes in the house but not the senate

I’m just saying, there’s no excuse for George Bush, especially the second time around.

There were Dems that won’t totally corrupt back then, eg Warren called the debt problem in the 90s and advocated for consumer protection reforms, Kusinich was a hero as far as I am concerned, etc. The whole party went crazy after Bush, and I suppose it makes sense. If you elect that kind of blatant corruption twice, they may have said let’s double down even harder and smarter for the oligarchy.
