How does a paralegal get "trial experience"? Do they mean going to court with a lawyer and managing the exhibits and computer presentation program?

Yes, that is exactly what they do. They are typically in charge of organizing and knowing how to locate all the exhibits.

$110k isn't bad, especially if they're willing to pay for "extensive overtime." The paralegal is likely to end up making more per hour than some of the associates.
