Has anyone had an interview request go in the spam folder? I just had that happen to a position that I've already done a couple of interviews with. For some reason HR's email went to the spam box. I am extremely thankful the head guy ended up reaching out to me to check to see if I was still interested. I ended up losing a week's worth of time.

Yup.

I just consider myself fortunate that I found it at all.

Alas, the position lost funding after I passed the interview and they were running the security check (sigh!).

I assume it was through one of those information gathering applications they use? It's all the same info, but you have to individually enter your name, personal info, previous jobs, etc. Set up a user name and password. Very annoying and not surprising.

Yes. I was curious as to why they didn't respond after 3-4 days due to the fact that all previous responses were within 48 hours.

Thank god the hiring manager reached out to me directly.

based on that, I wonder if they're used to it? they probably send it through their side of the application and it is typically listed as spam by gmail, etc.

Not sure. I've had other platform emails go through without any problems. For some reason that one went to my spam.

I have a relative I correspond with routinely and fairly often one of hers will randomly trigger the filter. I used to google filter trigger words and tell her what phrase she had used that likely got it caught up.

I had a similar situation happen to me while I was on the job hunt but luckily I caught it the same day. It's a good idea to check your spam folder daily when actively looking for a job.

I had a recruiter text me today asking if I checked my emails for an interview that I've been waiting for the last two weeks. I nearly lost my mind and checked all my folders. No email from her since my last reply. I can't tell if she was playing games with me.
