Hello,

Anyone have Pennsylvania state specific bar prep materials? I have MBE, but I would REALLY appreciate some fairly recent PA material.

Thanks!

I wish I could help you, but my materials are from 07. Having said that let me say this, I used Barbri and I really liked their schedule. I followed it and passed. If I have to take another bar exam, and god willing I won't ever have to, I would use Barbri for that reason.

Good luck with the bar exam, but at least in 07 they followed a pretty consistent pattern with the essays, essay one was always topic A, essay two topic B etc. etc. They don't seem to be too radical, so I would assume it's still relatively similar.

Thank you.. I'm actually a second-time test taker. I have been practicing law for ten years but am planning to move to PA next year, so here we go again! I used Barbri for my first time and I passed, but I don't have student loans to tap into to pay for a full Barbri course this time around! I managed to get ahold of some fairly recent MBE Barbri materials but I am still hunting down state stuff. I appreciate the insight and the well wishes!

I keep seeing Themis discussed on here but never heard of it before. You guys do seem to have a high opinion of it, so I will defer to you.

The PA Board of Law Examiners has essay questions with model answers for the past couple years on their website. I think it is better than BARBRI because it shows exactly how PA wants the essays structured and how much depth to go into on the issues. Also, free.

I've been going through those as well. They are definitely helpful. Thank you for the suggestion, though! I appreciate the reply!
