White Collar work I think is very light. This is not a political post, but I think it's the new administration--I think some agencies are taking a wait-and-see approach as to whether they start or continue certain investigations, people haven't been appointment yet, and also enforcement in certain regulatory areas may be eased on orders from the new admin.

Generally, a significant portion of doc review work is due to government investigations, a hit to the volume their volume and breadth will be felt by the doc review circuit in general.

In the past month I conflicted out of 3 things before I got on the one I started recently. I've gotten about 4 agency emails saying "Are you available ...?" since I started this one.

If an agency can fill projects with known quantities rather than having to advertise on Posse, they'll try that first.
